On Nov. 16 and 17, Prof. Irvin Studin from the University of Toronto joined us for two presentations in the Maritimes for the AIMS on Campus program. He discussed his bold and influential thesis “Imagine Canada with 100-million people”.
The first talk was on Nov. 16 at Mt. Allison University in Sackville, NB. Prior to the talk, Studin was joined by AIMS President Marco Navarro-Génie and several Mt. Allison students at the home of University President Robert Campbell. The second talk was on Nov. 17 at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Both generated ample discussion, particularly of Canadian politics, strategic thinking, and immigration policy.
During his stay in Halifax, Dr. Studin joined Sheldon MacLeod from News 95.7. Over the next few weeks, we will upload a series of YouTube clips from his interview.
